Athena is a senior at Lower East Side Preparatory High School. She is a part of the journalism class and club at her school, and has written articles on issues ranging from facilities and policy changes to school events. At her previous school in the Philippines, she competed in journalism competitions in radio broadcasting. She has also worked with her father, a professional videographer, and has practice using his equipment and helping him edit projects. She is familiar with Premiere Pro, Final Cut, Capcut, Canva, and IbisPaint.

Khloe is a senior at Park Slope Collegiate in Brooklyn. The 16-year-old Brooklyn native describes herself as outspoken and talkative, a person who loves a good laugh. She participates in cheer and stunt which she says are fun but challenging and have helped her build discipline. She also works with Students and Educators for Equity (SEE) to help bring and keep restorative justice in her school, discuss current events, and effect positive changes in the school community. She loves to read and write and have discussions about interesting topics. She also loves animals, music, clothes, and sneakers (especially Converse). Khloe is Puerto Rican and Haitian, and loves to learn about her culture and background.

Crystal is a senior at Bronx Haven High School. The 17-year-old comes from a big family with eight siblings. Crystal has a passion for learning new things and expanding her knowledge every chance she gets. She is excited to meet new people and create meaningful connections as she believes that learning from others leads to personal growth and development. Crystal is in the journalism class at her school and focuses on interviewing her classmates, teachers, and staff. She writes about many topics including school news and politics.

Dasiel is a senior at United Charter High School for the Humanities in the Bronx. She is passionate about the arts, and aspires to be in the field in any way possible, including journalism. She writes lyrics, enjoys art, and is planning to start making comics. In addition to being a part of the journalism class and team at her school, she is in the gaming club and art club, and dabbles in fashion design and graphic design. On the journalism team, she is on the news beat, helps with social media, and shares ideas to improve visuals and graphics. She has experience with Canva, IbisPaint, and Google apps.

Jocelyn is a rising senior at the High School for Excellence and Innovation in Inwood. She is 16 years old, and is interested in real estate and sonography. Out of school, she likes to go to the gym, go to soccer practice, read, and help out at the car dealership her mom works at. She is in the journalism class at her school and wrote an article about immigration and how it affected the school community. She’s interested in theater and Broadway because it feels real and alive, and she loves how music, acting, and storytelling come together to create something unique.

For more than three decades, she has been the architect of many cross-industry initiatives that have helped modernize Broadway’s marketing practices. In 1995, she founded Camp Broadway®, Broadway’s original enrichment program for theater-loving kids, which is the recipient of a 2016 special Drama Desk Award for its contribution to the sector. From 2005-2015, she was the Chief Marketing Officer for The Nederlander Organization, where she launched Audience Rewards, Broadway’s official loyalty program (now serving 3+ million theatergoers); the InTheater Network, BroadwayDirect.com, and co-founded The National High School Musical Theatre Awards, aka The Jimmys. BEA continues to produce The Roger Rees Awards for Excellence in Student Performance, the Greater New York Regional Awards of the national program.
